About Reduce My College Costs
For more than a decade, Marc Hill, CCPS, RFC®, CCFC, CAFC has helped families achieve their “college dreams”.
With four children-two who have graduated college, one currently in college, and one on the way- Marc intimately understands both the financial and emotional concerns involved in sending a child to college. He transitioned into college planning after years of experience within a broader-based investment practice after encountering first-hand the rippled affect that improper college planning had on the financial lives of families.
As one of fewer than 1,500 Certified College Planning Specialists in the country, Marc now works full-time to help hard working American families afford college. His company, Reduce My College Costs, LLC, offers objective college planning services and publishes the country’s only college planning subscription newsletter for families, the College Savings Tip Sheet.
In addition, Marc serves as an advisor to other financial professionals who don’t have the time or desire to stay current on the ever-changing regulations that govern financial aid and tax laws concerning tution deductions and education.
In his free time, Marc and his wife enjoy the multitude of outdoor activities in and around their Denver, Colorado home. His favorite recreational activity is fly fishing on any remote Colorado stream. He also enjoys pheasant hunting in Washington State. Marc is actively involved in his youngest daughter’s life which has entailed such activities as T-Ball coach, assisting with Pre-School and Kindergarten curriculum, and teaching Sunday school. The Hill family can usually be found with their near constant German Shepherd companion, Scout.
