Decisions, Decisions, Decisions. As college bound students and their parents know, the years leading up to college admission are filled with them. Many of these decisions are made during a student’s junior year in high school, and the ACT versus the SAT (or both!) is no exception. So, how are you and your child to select which standardized test best suits his or her individual goals and strengths? How about with a little help from your friends here at Reduce My College Costs?
This bulletin discusses the pros and cons of each test and outlines the differences between them. In addition, we help you understand the results of these tests and how to use them. You’ll also receive a peek into the college admissions office and the importance they place on these tests and how and when they will pay you for your child’s test performance.
After reading this report you’ll understand that when it comes to standardized tests, it pays (sometimes literally) to be informed. And by understanding how they differ in format and rankings coupled with the pros and of each test, you and your child will be well on your way to making one of those all important decisions referenced above. With some hard work on your child’s part and a solid test score, it’s a decision that ultimately could reduce your college costs!
